Okay, can somebody just tell me how to fucking make the mods work for New Vegas? I put the .esp in the data folder, I start the launcher, pick the .esp in the data files menu, but no matter what I do, there's no fucking sign of a mod of any sort, and it's pissing me the hell off because I have been trying since 10A.M. and I can't do shit.

The Nexus Mod Manager is actually one of the best modding-related programs I've ever used.
Alright, then do me a favor. Take remote control of my computer and make the mod work. If you have the time, tell me when you can.

I really don't know how I can help. It's been a while, but I remember just getting the Manager to insert the mods automatically and hitting 'launch'.
Okay, man. I cleaned out my data folder. It is completely vanilla right now. To make a simple mod work, I put the .esp in the DATA folder, use the NMM to click on the mod, load the game and it should work? Do I have to make a new save or anything?
