New minecraft update

The server runs on Bukkit which doesn't have a stable build out currently. Typically its about a week or two after an update comes out.
 
If this is wrong then sorry, but the servers I mainly go on have been running 1.5 for a few days now and nothing bad has happened.

Did that, still the same.

I was in OleGreg's creative area before the update, logged out with a diamond sword in hand. Server was updated, and then I logged in. When I left his creative area and went back to spawn, I still have the diamond sword. If I drop the sword and log out and in again, I log in with sword in hand and nothing else.

I think I went full retard.

Edit: I just jumped from the high bridge at the spawn and killed myself to see if I started shitting items, that's a no-go. I somehow have chain armor and was able to go and pick that up after I died.
 
I am sorry about that Sir Gooch I forgot to warn you. If you teleport to a person with creative mode wipes out your inventory except for a somewhat buggy survival inventory in creative mode. I say somewhat buggy because it doesn't always transfer items , although it usually transfers items in the survival menu's quick item boxes (if that makes any sense). When I jump into MC today I can re-outfit you with spare items from one of my non-creative mode chests if you want.

No worries, I just had some building materials on me that I was using for my new house. I've already re-outfitted myself with most everything. :)
 
Off topic, but Oaky or one of the other admins, i have a request. Perhaps could you put a creative mode square similar to greg's and my old area at our new build spot. Our build projects are much larger than the previous one as we plan to spend most of our building time only on this area for quite a long time. He is building a city in the ocean and i am building a 2:1 scale replica of the Parthenon. Both projects would be much to difficult to complete in survival mode and i would be humbled if an admin was able to grant us creative mode. We have the diagonal of the perimeter marked off already. We are eternally grateful.
 
So the Nether is a death trap. If you make the mistake of visiting their your trapped. Sort of. You can't teleport out by using the commands /tp nameofplayergoes here, /home or /spawn. Killing yourself will result in re-spawning in the nether. But don't fret there is a way out of hell. You can use a portal..if you can find. Also know that you can't destroy blocks, or place blocks.

Anyway this can be fixed? I know there were some block updates...are you going to have to scrub the world? (new seed?)
 
Again? It was working before.:yuno: Unfortunately I wont be able to look at it til tomorrow.
