Need some help with surfing up ramps

Well I'm not entirely sure on how to surf up a ramp 100% of the time. I sometimes do it but it'll be those rare moments.

I crouch and jump when going up the ramps. Am I doing anything wrong?

Note: I'm talking about maps like payload, or cp.

Here's an example:

if you skip to about 30 you could see him surf up that small ramp.

I should've been more specific. I meant up ramps in maps like badwater etc. I'll edit the thread, sorry about the confusion

Now that you've edited your OP, I have more to add.
At no point was that man surfing. He was rocket jumping. Pretty big difference.

You need speed basicaly. you can even do it on 2 fort you know where the intel is and there is the stairs what go straight up.

It's more sliding up a ramp then surfing. B4nny does it in most of his demo rollouts too, I suppose I should watch more tutorial vids. But at around 0:35 you see him slide up a ramp and go flying.

Look at what i said you need to have speed when you rocket jump or sticky jump. But you must be above ground obviously for it to work.
