Need help finding the name of an Anime.

I've been trying to figure out the name of this anime for awhile now, It's this guy who goes around taking the stories of horrors and ghosts and monsters. It's rather gory, and a bit disturbing at times. But It's one of my favorites, I've only seen it a few times during Animonday on SyFi and I never took the time to remember the name before I stopped having that channel. It has a kinda Cowboy bebop art style to it, but much darker. Can anyone help?

Any of those titles strike you as familiar?

The only thing I've seen on that list is Fist of the North Star and that doesn't remotely sound like what you described.

THAT'S THE ONE! Soon as I got to "100 ghost stories" that was it.
