I've recommended Durarara!! in another thread, and suggest you see it also. The plot is amazingly well written.
I'm currently keeping up with Mysterious Girlfriend X, but it's weirder than hell in uncomfortable ways. Good though.
There is also an anime movie called REDLINE. Watch it if at all possible. It is the greatest thing I have ever seen.
Ever.
Of all time.
EDIT: Last Exile is also a good pick. It's pretty unique.
 
Two animes that I've personally liked are Nichijou, and Usagi Drop, although, judging by what you currently own...I'm not sure if you would enjoy them as much as I do.
Still going to put these suggestions out though.

"The World God Only Knows" aka Kami Nomi no Shiru Sekai
Its about this high schooler second year who is an expert on Dating Sims and is able to "capture" the hearts of any girl on any game. One day he gets a message that says they want him to catch girls. Then a girl comes out of the sky and claims that protagonist "Keima Katsuuragi" (should've said earlier) is her buddy to capture loose souls by filling the empty space in their heart with his love. If he doesn't capture souls he will lose his head along with his demon buddy (Elsie) and yeah rest of series is them capturing loose souls (or at least what I'm up to.

I tried watching Mysterious Girlfriend X and didn't like it.
I'll look into everything else.

I have seen Usagi drop, probably forget to write it down. I'll look into the other one.
