Well, since it's a long weekend for thanksgiving I'm going to be watching a lot of movies. What are some movies you would recommend I watch
I like: Comedy, action, more action and fast paced movies (lots of things going on, not a lot of waiting before next notable scene, etc), old school and new movies welcome, also history based works too (ww2 etc)
Don't like: drama

Movies I've watched that I enjoyed:
Rain man
Stepbrothers
Django unchained
Project x
21 jump street
Monty python and the Holy grail
Wedding crashers
Freddy got fingered
pineapple express
Easy A
Sherlock holmes

Can't really think of any more.

Thinking of watching:
Saving private ryan
8-mile
Sherlock Holmes 2


I'm not too picky btw
 
Seems you enjoy a lot of "dumb humor"

Comedy:
Anchorman
Kingpin
Zombieland

Action:
Expendables (1 and 2) - There isn't much story in these, just lots of cheesy action which is awesome.
Olympus has Fallen
The Patriot
Inglorious Basterds - more of a drama which I know you said you don't enjoy too much, but lots of good action scenes.
The Dark Knight
The Dark Knight Rises
Kill Bill (1 and 2)
Rush Hour (all of them)
Lethal Weapon (all of them)

You can't really go wrong with anything Tarantino.

I completely forgot about the expendables. Always wanted to watch that movie

And yeah, dumb humor is a perfect name for the type of comedy I like

Yeah, added a few more after the quote. All the lethal weapons I couldn't endorse more. There wasn't a weak one.

To each their own, I enjoyed it...but I like any cheesy action movie pretty much. You don't watch movies like expendables/olympus has fallen for the deep plot. I also enjoyed the book the movie was stolen from.
 
Oblivion was a pretty good movie.
You really have to think about it to completely get it, but it's pretty good.
 
Tron Legacy? Doesn't have the best storyline but the action and everything is fun.
And you'll have tron-gasms when Flynn enters the club *spoiler*

John Williams actually wrote the music for Bourne
I like most of the movies that he wrote music for
