I am fine with viewing MOTDs, I get it gets the server money... but do they have to be so damned loud? I have my game blow average volume and MOTDs are typically so loud that my eardrums are about to burst. Surely this is something that can be controlled...

Just a friendly suggestion. I know I'm not the only one who dislikes it

MOTD volume is controlled by steam webhelper rather than the TF2's volume. You can lower webhelper's volume in the volume mixer.
