would it be possible to include an extra snippet of info alongside votemenu texts in chat to be clearer who is getting voted against, and for what reason?

reason i'm making this thread is: http://www.skial.com/threads/racism-vote-abuse-and-bullying.15674/

it'd be less of a hassle to determine votemenu abuse cases.

something like this could work:

Can't agree with this. I'd rather see an online log of some kind instead. I stand by an earlier opinion that you should be able to vote anonymously to decrease the chance of getting votegriefed. I'm not sure whether Skial can actually edit the Hlstatsx site, but if they could I'd definitely like to see something like I suggested.

anonymously starting votes would kind of protect people who votespam to begin with, but an online log could work too.

edit: i've also never seen people get specifically votespammed against just because they started a vote themselves earlier. i don't see the harm of my suggestion though.

You kiddin'? I can't tell how many times I've been votebanned for trying to votemute or voteban while the kids scream paki, nigger and jew, Heil Hitler and every other hip and cool thing to say.

But yeah, you could make it so that if you spam votes x times during a y period your name will show up,

don't think so, votebans are hard to achieve anyway, at worst you could be votegagged a few times (happened to me numerous times before).

i'm not against a log on hlxstats or something, but if you are convinced someone is abusing the votemenu; going to the website every time is a bit of a hassle. that's why i'm also in favor of my own suggestion, also because i've never seen or been subject of specific votemenu abuse, just because i used the votemenu myself.

Yes, it's a bit of a hassle. For me, I'd rather go through the hassle rather than appearing to be the whiny piece of shit who can't take some hideous words. Yeah, I'm Swedish, so I'm naturally very sensitive about my self-image, sue me.
