Model ' (null)' doesn't have attachment 'backblast' to attach particle system 'rocketbackblast' to.

I keep getting this message and I get massive lag when it shows up. Not sure why and no one seems to know how to fix it.

Dude everyone else gets it. Your lag is almost definitely related to something else.

Maybe check your background processes? Turn down your settings? When did this start happening?

This started happening very recently. I've checked everything. The only time my game lags is when that message pops up in the console. I even reinstalled TF2 twice and verified the cache twice.

So, now it's moved on to any time I get errors in the console. Whenever I get a random error, it makes my game lag. My network is fine.

This is an unfixable error unless you modify the config yourself where you add your own custom backblast or remove the particle system itself.

Or you can just type this in the console:
con_filter_text "Model '(null)' doesn't have attachment 'backblast' to attach particle system 'rocketbackblast' to."
