I posted this in bans but will do so here too for the sake of it.​
So my friend gets banned for racism, I post in his tread saying how bad skial admins are and don't use any racial slurs so an admin searches the chat log for a racial slur I said in game and bans me for it. I can go to the chatlog right and and find many players who used a racial slur who didn't get banned. Seems like selective enforcement to punish someone who would dare question the authority. I've donated on multiple steam accounts to skial and will never give a dime to them again if these are the type of people that they give admin power too.

http://www.skial.com/threads/really-racism.30655/page-2#post-347470 is the thread in question. I would like to appeal this ban and if it is denied I'd like to request that everyone I find using a racial slur in the chat log get banned too.

I would like to request a ban on every who shows up on this list as they used the same word I did and didn't get banned.

yes i abused my powers to ban you for using racial slurs
even though using racial slurs is against the rules.

I think the point is that I can go search and find a lot of people who used racial slurs who aren't banned, so I'd like them banned as they broke the same rule I did. Because otherwise you are selectively enforcing the rules on someone you have a personal issue with, which I think constitutes an abuse of power.
 
You do know that any form racism at all isn't allowed, right?

Racism and other insults to gender, religion and sexual orientation. Does not include discussion of why it is against the rules.
  • Any form of the word nigger (nigga, nigg etc.) is not allowed even if you are just quoting a rap song or you are black, to prevent actual racists from using the same excuse.
And to do with that list, some of them probably have been banned for it before, or haven't been gotten to by admins. Its not like they have no life and just spend time looking at chatlogs and filling out bans. Banning isn't just clicking a button.

Thats fine, so im requesting that everyone that I can look up in the chatlog using them be banned like me. Its just fair enforcement of the rules.

If you would like to make a report for individulas using racism please make individual threads for each person using the correct report format
Please include proof. Proof includes:
  • Name
  • Time of abuse
  • Which Server
  • SteamID of offender found by opening your console and typing status.
  • Screenshots: Press F12 to save a screenshot to your steam profile.
  • Demos: You can record a demo by opening console and typing "Record <filename>" and to stop it, simply re-open the console and type "stop". You can then upload it to www.mediafire.com or any file sharing website. Without a demo, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to ban the player, unless he already has been banned on other servers.

Please provide all the information above. Otherwise there is little an admin can do.

We simply ban people if they are being reported. Sure thing that sometimes someone breaking rules just won't being reported and escapes the ban. But deal with that your friend was reported and got his ban. You or even him crying over this ban would not do anything positive with this.
Suggesting to lock this.
 
You both said racist things, you're both banned. Making threads saying "Skial sucks", "The Admins are horrible", etc. dont help your case at all, it will only increase your ban or just make people even angrier at you. You're just making it worse by making this stupid thread, just deal with your ban or if you're apparently done with skial, go play on a different server and leave us

People are only banned for racism when attention is brought to them and determined the context they were using them in wasn't appropriate, this is why a wordfilter ban system isn't worth considering.

It's not that exotic of an idea. You'll probably find it in whatever servers you're leaving for.

Except I was never reported. An admin took the time to search through my chatlogs to find me saying something because he took issue with something else i did that he couldn't ban me for. He was just looking for any reason at all to ban me. I don't think that is a common occurrence on most servers.

You're not special, admins won't give you special attention and go through your chatlogs if no one has reported you.
 
As Giildy has already said, if you want the rest of the people who said racist things banned, make an individual report for all of them.
We would be more than happy to oblige.
