Will you get mad if you lose admin:
If I have lost admin, it is likely for a good reason and I would not be upset.

What do you type to ban your own SteamID for 30 minutes for the reason obvious aimbot?:

Admin Experience:
Yes, I have been an admin on several Action Half-Life servers for the past 7 (or so) years. This is an old Half-Life 1 mod and the community is reduced to less than 100 players worldwide however I have been an active member and admin in this community for many, many years.

Additional Information:
I am 25 years old and live in Las Vegas, NV. I am a very active gamer/trader in the TF2 community, I realize I do not have a lot of activity on Skial forums... this is because I am and always have been a quiet forum lurker. I pretty much always have these three pages open in different tabs at any given moment while at my PC and F5 constantly (http://www.skial.com/forums/cash-high-end.9/ , http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=80 , http://www.reddit.com/r/tf2trade/ , and of course http://www.tf2outpost.com etc.) Always lurking and reading on SPUF and reddit I never post I am simply a quiet person who loves the game, plays the game, and would rather just be in game than talk about it.

I would like to see more activity on skial. Although that time frame is probably a little less covered. Also we only have two active trade mods so that's a +1 if you help with scam reports, etc., which is why I'll mark this considering for now.
 
His chat log is surprisingly clean, with the exception of a few instances of trade spam.

EDIT: This is shaping up to be pretty solid.

Yeah I would note that it's frowned upon to spam that on our regular play servers. We like to keep that relegated to trade servers/chat. Although once between rounds isn't the end all.

As for trade spamming... yeah I do that on occasion but generally between rounds/setup.

Or I was in a hurry to get rid of something.

Both preferably. Although I almost never see Xel playing on our regular servers and Faron has fairly low activity too. That's why I marked as considering since if you help with trade moderation I think we'd be willing to overlook time on regular servers for your trading expertise. In the case of Xel'Naga, he's not a regular admin, but just a trade moderator.
 
You seem pretty good from your application and have a good play schedule, but 6 days is a little short. Unless you can get regulars from the servers you frequent then it'd be a -1 from me. The ban question isn't correct either.
 
Yeah as I said I am quiet out of game I think I have about 100 posts on Steam user forums since I created my account in January 2010...

My Reddit account probably has less than 10 posts and I literally check TF2 Reddit every day. I'm also a weirdo who only plays on Badwater/Payload servers when not trading.

I would be happy to allot time to trade moderation.
 
I can confirm that mittens is a solid admin. I've ran about 20 action half life servers over the years ( a hl1 mod ) and I've known him for over 10 years. He was in my clan, I've met him in Vegas on my last business trip, and can say he's an all around good guy. During the time i've known him he's always been an administrator on my servers. He would step in only when necessary and I did not receive complaints from players or other admins about his actions.

I would not expect you to have problems with him, and he would be a fair mediator for issues.

Hello everyone! I often play on Skial's Badwater | LA 1 server for a long time now, but first time as a forum member. I just want to come in here and support Mittens in becoming an admin. It is always great to have an admin in the servers, especially one that is active. Also knowing Mittens, he will make a great, non-abusive admin.

I've known mittens for a couple months now from skial servers and I'd vouch for him. I'd imagine he'd be a vigilant admin who'd respect the powers given to him.
 
Well, as someone who's been playing on the SKial servers a lot the last several months....i gotta say I enjoy playing with Mittens, for what its wrth.....defintealy a lot more mature than a lot of the goons that you see a lot of these days....

I had originally answered it /sm_ban "mittens" STEAM_0:1:7857664 30 "obvious aimbot" I think I over analyzed this. although I believe that command would still work...

It'd still work with just the name. But the SteamID is asked more of as a competency test.
 
hi! im a quite frequent player these days on the skial badwater servers with around 7days total playing time. ive played with mittens quite a bit on the skial servers and in the past on various other tf2 servers and it is very fun with play with him. he is definitely nice, mature, reasonable, and i feel he would be a great addition to the skial administrators.
 
Mittens is a fine, respectable member of the skial community in badwater. I've played with him for a long time in various badwater servers, and I can say from personal experience he won't be a let down. With a combination of his chill personality, his l33t skills, and his orgasmic voice I think he would make a fine admin. +1!
