Friend recommended me this a few weeks back because it had a sort of metaphysical end like what I described of Madoka to him. Watched it, loved everything about it. Turned like 3 people I know onto it and they've all had zero regrets.

If you haven't seen it, what's not touched on in that video is that they all have a sort of diary that can predict certain aspects of the future in order to hunt down the other eleven diary holders. Also, that pink-haired chick is batshit for the near entirety of the series.
