You're middleman'ing a trade, and the seller claims to have not received the money after the buyer says he sent it. How do you proceed?:I would ask both parties for the screenshot to prove there is no scam being committed or to prove there is some sort of fraud going on.
The buyer and seller are negotiating between Steam items, and items from a non-Steam game. How do you handle this transactin?:I would have the user send me the item/funds and I would do the transaction personally so there could be no scam or fraudulent actions.
The seller is a tagged scammer on SteamRep. While it's impossible for him to rip anybody off if you're effectively middlemanning, do you still proceed with the transaction? If so, how? What about pending reports, or caution tags?:I personally would not do business with recently banned steam users on Steamrep, If they have a pending report I would read through the report and go over the proof given example screenshots of trade, chat logs etc. If Tagged with "caution" I would treat it the same way as I would if they where marked as a scammer and may not even bother as it could be putting my client in danger of losing his or her valuables.
