Alright, so I looked around for a Word Starter program because I'm cheap, and found a few sites with a Microsoft Office download. I start the download, and when it reaches step three, an error message pops up either saying:

The required files were not downloaded, or your internet connection has caused an error in the download.

I don't know what do do, since it is showing that my internet connection is in order, and the download is the same for every site, meaning it isn't the sites fault for the error.

This was one of the downloads. I'd appreciate some help, since I need Word for pretty much everything.

speaking of office...Anyone know where I can get 2007 downloaded for free? I have a key I just need the software

I might try PC world, but I did google it, actually. Cnet just redirects you to Microsoft's website, and microsoft won't let you download 2007 as a backup copy.
Wait, what??? You said you have a code... I always download my licensed MS Office 2010 Pro from MS's website...

Yeah I got to that part and I tried that but 2007 apparently is not eligible to be downloaded for a backup copy. It's stated elsewhere on microsoft's pages. Only 2010 you can download off of the website.
