I was just reading up on an article from last month about tech-support scams, because I remembered a friend of mine shared such an experience he had on facebook. the article said that often times they say that they're from Microsoft, and my friend happens to be a software engineer at Microsoft Studios, lol

[I had] a nice conversation with a very Indian sounding guy "from Microsoft". He opens up with some rapidfire concerned statement about how there is "an emergency with my Windows" and asking if "Do you have ANY programs open on your computer"...
Me: "wow, um, thanks for the scam call... fuck off."
Him: "No, this is not a scam call..."
Me: "I work for Microsoft, this is a scam call... and fuck you very much."
Him: "Oh... oh..." <sound of crossed telephone lines for 3 seconds> <click>
