Will you get mad if you lose admin: To be honest, I guess it depends on the situation. Doubt I would get mad but more frustrated or annoyed would be the better term.​

What do you type to ban your own SteamID for 30 minutes for the reason obvious aimbot?: There a few ways of banning a player if you're "inside" the game;​
The Console version: sm_ban "#STEAM_0:1:62778533" 30 "Obvious Aimbot"​
The game chat command !ban "#STEAM_0:1:62778533" 30 "Obvious Aimbot"​
Another way is through sm_admin menu options​
The final way is through SourceBans directly.​

Admin Experience: I was a long time admin over at the XFG Community for years. When that closed down due to complications I went over to RagedGamers where I was a Head Admin until it closed. Took quite a bit of time off from gaming communities until I found my new home, Skial.​

Additional Information: I'm 30 years old, I do have a couple of medical issues that prevent me from really doing anything until it's resolved (Work and travel). This gives me plenty of time to play Team Fortress 2. I'm a pretty laid back person who will give somebody a chance. I understand we all make bad choices from time to time it's just a matter if we correct those bad choices before they start to effect the people around you.​

Now I know that the trade server isn't really a big concern but there are those times when gamers like to annoy everybody and that tends to start a bitch fest from time to time. I'm only asking that you consider my application to become an admin for those times in need WHEN the vote ability fails or when an admin is unobtainable. I could always do a report but the time it takes for an admin to (A) Join a server or (B) Watch a demo, they could better spend that time on a more populated server.​

+1 Seems calm and level headed. (Unsure of connection time, but I'm gonna assume it's sufficient)

I'm sure 2fort always needs admins as well.
 
Also, I'm not sure if it would directly matter, but whoever has access to view connection times, could they post it or at least let us know if he's got enough time?

I know it would be a while before he'd be approved, but then again, I don't know how long connection times will be unavailable.

I just added more information regarding the possibilities of how to execute a ban. Some ways are faster than others.

I may not have the big accumulated times like most of the other applicants nor the support since I only really chat with a couple of people so I hope that doesn't hinder my chances too much.

more talking about the cheater cheater pumpkin thing, others will see it as incorrect (incoming mittens typical response of ban question wrong)
 
I fixed it. I was just being silly because if you're an admin and you're cheating, obviously you're not going to ban yourself.
 
I edited it, I didn't realize they had changed it to the point where you needed to add a # sign. It's been awhile and things change.

Apparently I've been out of the admin scene to long. If it's wrong now, feel free to deny my application.

Before you start to talk about denying the application; please do check this topic!

You have just been away from the scene for some time, that does not mean that you should be denied! Just read up how it works these days and edit your topic with the appropriate commands!

Edit: You seem like an really valuable addition to the admin team. You have enough adminstration experience in your backpack to fill two boats and a small car! A few errors in your applications are easily forgiven with such history!

Your answer is now correct ;)

A couple of points just for reference;
There is no source mod admin menu available in skial, due to past concerns about the abuse of some commands.
I always use / instead of ! just incase I mistype something, I don't feel like an idiot when my mistakes are plastered on the screen for all to see.
Banning through SourceBans directly also needs you to go onto the server and /kick the player as this is not done automatically, so pointless when a player is still active.
 
I've played with Mathias a couple of times and they all ended in a good note.

I kinda remember him but his application seems good for me.

+0 for now and try to get to know him better.
