A lot of Marvel movies are coming out and some DC movies are coming out. Tell me, which do you prefer and why? Like, which heroes you like or which movies are just better.

Personally, I prefer Marvel. They've been extremely successful in the past few years. As for favorite hero by them, I'd say Spiderman. The Amazing Spiderman one. Much closer to the comics.

I like Marvel more because the heroes aren't really immortal like Superman (apart from Thor, but even his daddy can take his toy away).

Moviewise, I'm okay with either. My dad is a pretty big fan and when it comes to movies he's always like "What a time to be alive!" because I guess it's exciting for him to see large scale representations of the comics he enjoyed as a kid.

I prefer Marvel a little bit more, because there seems to be more... options? DC has Superman as the strongest, and as for "best/would win in a fight" everyone always does the same thing and says Batman, and while he's great and everything I still think the mindless worship is kind of silly.

I've been getting a little tired of the spiderman movies myself. I'd like to see some new heroes step in for something different

I prefer Deadpool over Iron Man. I heard Ryan Reynolds was supposed to play Deadpool.

i have to say dc, but ive never reallyliked comics, just dc has a larger selection of heros with slightly more interesting stories behind them, and they didnt steal a god and turn his story into some silly piece of shit

DC is doing really terribly, in my opinion. They have been for quite a while. Sure, they've had a couple good movies. But a majority of their movies haven't been sitting well with the comic fans. As for Marvel, they're doing amazingly well. They're satisfying the comic fans AND the people who don't know much about Marvel.

Yeah they are doing better currently, but mostly just due to how a lot of the dc movies in the past have been just garbage, but over all dc still has a larger fan base, has a better history, and still they never trampled on people's religon.

But he already played Deadpool though :c
Thats before he was a lantern of a green variety. I remember reading something with him saying he wanted to play deadpool again but couldnt cause he was contractually obligated to some more green lantern and justice league films which bars him from playing any marvel hero.

Fan base is debatable. I don't know what you mean by history, but Marvel has been more successful even if DC has been around longer (they've been more successful since the 80's).

I'm not sure what you mean by "trampling" but Marvel including Thor/Hercules and their respective pantheons doesn't really seem like it, as they're both based on mythological figures. The new Ms. Marvel is Muslim and it was really well done. Don't pretend that DC hasn't gotten into it's fair share of hot water over controversial matters (Orson Scott Card's homophobic tirade in Superman, Starfire's reboot, etc.). Both companies have their problems, Marvel just happens to be on top because of their willingness to experiment with a larger range of their characters.

Don't forget how one of the Green Lanterns was racist as well. (I forget which one.)

I'm sorry range of characters doesn't including slapping the name of a deity on a.character and then having a completely different story base. The Thor movies and comic are so incorrect it's not even funny. It's like calling the Easter bunny Jesus. At least Orson Scott card didnt diss any of those who do are against homosexuality( which I am not) beliefs. Even if it's a bad thing,I would prefer reading something that had s more narrow archetype of character then something that insulted me to my face.
