Can be interpreted in many different ways, both positive and negative. It can be optimistic as in cheery: "Damn, I have this large math test tomorrow, but I think I can do it.", and then you rate the post optimistic because it's like "Yeah, we believe you can do your math test. :)", and then we have optimistic as in "Damn, I have this hot gal that wanna fuck me tomorrow, kinda nervous since I'm a virgin y'know." and then you rate it optimistic because lol yeah right as if JohnnyGaloshes is going to get laid before he's 40.
