Make old ratings neutral.

Ok so when people think something is old and rate that certain post as "Old", it's one more negative rating for you, if you want to post something but you don't even know it's old, you're gonna have a bad time, because then 20 people rate that same post as "Old" and it's 21 negative ratings you have extra. I don't really see how can that be negative, it's just informing that something is old, long time and it should be the same as disagree, if you make a wrong statement and 20 people disagree, you wouldn't have 20 negative ratings added to your profile.

What do you think?

It's negative because if you get it, then that means you didn't read past threads to ensure that you're not repeating old content. Lurk more.

No because if you receive a dumb rating then you made no sense in whatever you have written and you are not serious about it (which this is not the case).
 
+1 I really don't care about ratings but if something is old I don't think it is supposed to be counted as negative. That makes me think of old consoles like the N64/NES/Dreamcast and so on. Those are old but that doesn't make it bad.

why dont we rename it to "late" instead as it makes more sense. so in other words i can rate any post over 1 year old because its old right and not posted before ? ? ?? ??

it can't always be made that way, some forums are designed so you can only customize whether some emotions are available.

Or just don't post old funny stuff on there to begin with. The web churns out hundreds of new e-comics and memes daily. It's not hard to find the newer ones of the bunch.
