I heard about this on the Jason Ellis Show. They came up with the idea that the league named it Major League Combat so that they could go home and tell chicks what they do while still sounding cool.

At first I thought this was some League for Monday Night Combat or maybe some other league like MLG except for games like Mortal Kombat or DoA and street fighter...
