I went to file a votereport on a player named Cornhole. As I was in the process, a second vote to mute the player succeeded and I decided to stop the votereport process. However, about 5 minutes later I typed something else and didn't realize that the votereport was still ongoing. I was not attempting to abuse the votereport function.

On a seperate note, we frequently have problems on our server with griefers. 90% compliance is required to win a vote and is practically impossible. Even filing a votereport after that is hard because other people have to sign up for the report to even be filed.

Can anything be done about this? The barriers to removing or limiting a players ability to ruin the play wreck the server at times.

As for the voting, I appreciate the ability to contact the admins directly, but can we turn down the 90% requirement a tad? You might as well not even have the function with that lofty percentage. Perhaps 70% would be more reasonable?

Also, it says that the votereport function is there for when things can't be worked out any other way. If that's the case, why can't it be sent without the cooperation of others? All I ever want to accomplish with a votereport is the attention of an admin so they can have a look for themselves.

the reason why vote report requires multiple people to report it is due to the amount of spam reports we received back when it was first added
 
You can also make a report yourself in this forum(in the Reports section). Find the stickied thread about required information and include everything needed and an admin will be able to help quite promptly.
