I've seen so many people mic spam when I'm playing and just about everyone is complaining, the usual vote to mute is activated by someone and, I'll say a good 40-50% of the time, I see the vote did not pass and it says 72-75 votes for yes and it needed one more player to mute someone that seriously needed muting.

I think the amount of votes needed are a little too high so I'm suggesting to lower the votes to mute a spammer by 1 (maybe 2?) votes.

Everything else is fine. Okay baieeeeeee!!!

vote amount is fine, easily able to mute people who are troublesome if the server is willing to cooperate.

Alright, I thought I'd try.

As for the personal mute thing, I know that it exist and I use it all the time so why am I asking for this?

Simple, when spammers (not people that are too obnoxious to listen to which I personally mute) know they are muted by the server there's a very good chance (around 50% of the time in my experience) they leave because the "fun" is over.

That is all. Ryan Seacrest, out!

-1. It's good as it is. If the number of required votes was reduced - votemenu abuse would be booming.

The system may not be flawless but as it stands it helps prevent people from abusing votemutes. Even with it in place it's still pretty common to see false votemutes going through just becuase someone got in an argument or other silly reason

As others have said the best thing you can do is submit a report with proof. A 1+ day mute / ban is a lot better than a 30 minute votemute considering they'll likely just keep spamming once the 30 minutes is up

You can record a demo of them and post it here. It's better if you do that in the first place, anyways. Even if client mute does exist, spamming on the mic is still spamming on the mic.
