Detailed Explanation / Screenshots / Demos:
I decide to play on the Saxton Hale EU server since the US one was empty and ***LOP*** Hangman thinks I'm hacking. I let it slide. However, he started a vote ban against me and unfortunately it went through.

Here's the link to the ban list: https://www.skial.com/sourcebans/in...Search=[U:1:203595856]&advType=steamid&Submit

This is the chat in console right after I got kicked:

This is something I would need a demo for. All I can tell from the chat alone is it looks like he legitimately thought you were hacking, and even if they are wrong that's not something we would go silencing them for right off the bat.

Oh, so whenever someone makes a vote against me I would need to record a demo of myself playing at the time of the vote? I guess I can do that next time.

But could you do something about the voteban on my account? I wasn't hacking and sometimes people just vote yes when they see they're losing.

Votebans only last 30 minutes, so yours expired long ago.

If you record a demo we gotta see what happened with the events that lead up to the voteban. For example if someone votebans you -then- you start recording, we wouldn't be able to do much with that. But if you have a demo of yourself playing for awhile, then someone votebans you that would be a lot more useful.

I would recommend recording a demo at the start of a round, and once the round ends end the demo and start a new one. It sounds like a hastle but its not as bad as it sounds, and you can rename the demo the same thing every round so it overrides the old demo.

You can even bind a key to record a demo and another key to end a demo to make it easy.

yea but it's on my record.

We don't take player votes into account with admin punishments. The only time we do is when someone has a massive wall of player votes, and even then if we know the person is vote abused a lot ("squeakers" are a good example) we wouldn't count them if that's the case.
