“Life consists of two days, one
for you and one against you.
So, when it's for you, don't be
proud or reckless, and when it's
against you, be patient, for
both days are a test for you.”

This quotation is verily excellent, and precise in its meaning and principle.
You see, sometimes people begin with their lives being “for them,”
or “with them:” i.e., being born into a wealthy family of
merchants... and then descending into the depths
of poverty & penury. There were in the sixties
& seventies, extremely wealthy Egyptian
singers... at their deathbed and ends,
they were bankrupt and were found
with no money/or coins in their sacks
and pockets!

And on the other hand, we've seen those whose
lives began “against them,” and were born
into the poorest of families...
then, all of a sudden they became the wealthiest of
the wealthy.

“The best deed of a great man
is to forgive and forget.”

Forgiving & forgetting: an important principle,
that a lot of human beings have forgotten.
Sadly, nowadays, the smallest matters
are taken to courts, and sometimes,
mutually fought over.

When one of my relatives was in New York,
he came across a woman whose bag
was stuck inside the doors
of a train. No one helped her.
And she was screaming for help too.

Some may say, that this is uncommon outside
of New York, as it's a place known for its ‘industrial, materialistic’ approach,
but nowadays, when people see others drowning, or dying,
or being inflamed with fire - all they do is pick up their phones,
take pictures, and/or selfies. No one helps!

A few months ago, a fire broke out in a train in Cairo,
many people died, two men were ‘trending in the media’ and interviewed,
because they: ‘took selfies: behind the train, as it was burning and turning into ashes.’

If—
By Rudyard Kipling

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
Or being hated, don’t give way to hating,
And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise:

If you can dream—and not make dreams your master;
If you can think—and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build ’em up with worn-out tools:

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: ‘Hold on!’

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings—nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!

If society is a grain of a gold nugget, then I shall say bucket.

And if they are mesmerizing, then go and say: “rip it.”

If it taunts & flaunts, your love of rotund, then beget.

And love what ever you find, for you wear the bonnet.

I hate, but while I am at it, I negate.

I open & close, but still bold is the gate.

Open for you, look wide open and spate.

Late and late, not for you is... Kate!

However, not slightly mesmerizing to the point of annual antagonized unbelief - but rather, slight up to the wink-a-dink click of a jink: as you know, individuals hate to be interrupted by jokers, such as Jack Napier or Bruce Wayne, as they attacked Jackie Chan in his sleep. Was quite antagonizing to say the least, and to this day, I am waiting in the hot summer for a lemonade juicy glass - sitting on the beach and remembering the old days of Alexandria - however not long sought for, as I am planning on building a life to begin with. And getting married, perhaps having a couple of children, here and there. Not to say, that the couple would be miraculously sparkled out of their mother’s abdomen! Something needs to begin here. Someone needs to sow the seed, and harvest the hay. But hey! I am there to meet Jay. And I’m waiting for the omelette to start crackling up, so I can eat. Sorry for any overwhelm, just said what was in my flowing mind of cheerfulness. But the eggs need to crack.

It’s said that a poet said good morning to al-Ḥasan al-Muhallabī at night, so al-Muhallabī told him: “Did you mock me or was that a joke?”

So the poet replied:

ṣabbaḥtuhu ʿinda l-masāʾī faqāla lī: āhazi’ta bī ām kāna ḏhāka muzāḥa?
fā’ajabtuhu: ishrāqu wajhika ġharranī, ḥattā tawahamtu l-masāʾ sabaḥā!

I said good morning to him at night, so he told me: did you mock me or was that a play?
So I answered him: the shine of your face tricked me until I imagined the night to be day!
