Limit Map extensions (Jailbreak specifically)

I don't know how much of a problem this is in other servers, but the only map people will play on the NY Jailbreak is the stupid Minecraft one. People play on it for literally days straight, and, God willing the map changes, it is immediately voted back. It would be nice to have some variety, yes?

It would be, yes. However, all of the other Jailbreak maps suck or are horribly broken.

Edit: More helpful suggestions would be if you found jailbreak maps that were good and free for the public to use. If you brought those to our attention we might add them and people might want to play them.

This is the primary issue. I've been creating a new JB map on and off for a bit now, but most of the other maps on the rotation are beyond fixing. Copy+pasted CS minigames retextured and glued together with sloppy brushwork.

The main reason Minecraft is the one people keep staying on is because it has the most adjustments and fixes, which is because people stay on it and make notes of whats wrong and so on.

Keeping it on Minecraft keeps the kids flowing through it, allowing it to stay full. However, yes it can be really boring being on the same map all the time, maybe have different variances for Minecraft jailbreak maps?

Plus a lot of the other maps are far too big. Big jailbreak maps seem good in concept but cause problems due to their size

It's a community vote. Don't force people to play maps they don't want to.

Recent stats show other maps getting a decent workout, actually.

Granted minecart is still the dominant one. Not hard to see why from the above reasons.

Minecart Skial is the only enjoyable Jailbreak map.

All the others are one of the following:
-poorly done
-too big
-too cramped
-poorly done & poorly ported from CS (some maps still have CT and T)

If people want to play on Minecart, let them play on it. It usually wins with 40-50% majority.
