Anyone notice the Key Prices? *lol* I can't see shit!

Been looking for a decent seller, but it seems everyone's being 'affected' by the unstable price...yet while I'm looking for keys, I ran into some funny trades.

Is buying...http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10390654 then selling...http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10427303 at the same time?

There are a LOT more on OP...then on SOP, it's hard to laugh at, with certain traders and admins acting like mentally retarded people..

I can't find any good traders anymore, is this trend signaling the end of something? Key prices nearly rose to the amount they cost at the Mann Co store...I wonder if buying from Mann Co, or the Community Market, would be easier to do than to purchase from some of these idiots, especially the ones listed above...because I sure as hell am not about to help them make bigger profits. :p

(I still miss buying keys and then selling them for 2-2.33 Refined.)

I'd just keep looking until I find a reasonable dealer, or lowest seller. I keep a number in my head where the lowest price is
(ex: 4.11ref, and I keep saying it in my head. If I have a headache, and can't remember anything, I just write it down)

Backpack.tf is also a good spreadsheet, but the prices inflate like crazy, with a really unstable price. The lowest according to it happens to be around 4.66ref. I wish you luck in finding a decent seller =)

I will agree, if they are out of stock why keep the ad up. But, would be hard to monitor all those ads.
Yeah...I wonder why OP even has a moderation team anymore. I added one to ask about a possible scam. The little fuck actually removed me before he 'got back to me'. Seems like we're in fine hands at this rate.

I thought backpack.tf got even more unreliable after admins denied a suggestion with hard evidence...except the potato turd that appeared to shoot down the spreadsheet stayed silent this time. Never seen this many crickets on feddit before.

See, it's this complicated bullshit that makes trading dull and boring...sure, his intentions might mean well, but holy fuck, keep it simple for fuck's sake. I don't need to read your life's story on a TRADE POST.

I thought it was funny. He has good intentions but he is wasting his time. I just decided i am not going to buy keys (lowest price at the time and 20 or so in stock at all times) when i need them to do other trades. I will save my metal for when it drops, and it will someday in the near future i think/hope.

It's also a shame that in effect, if the price of keys should drop to 2.55 in 6 months, for example, anyone who bought anything paid DOUBLE of what it is normally worth when the price is 5.00 each. A lot of traders aren't dumb, they are offloading them like mad right now because talk is that it has peaked and they want to offload before it drops.

Is there one verified, true reason that the price skyrocketed to begin with? I still can't believe any of the shit people say...besides what seems most likely is the amount of farm accounts. There's a few traders I've seen with obvious accounts, such as Scout 1, Scout 2, and so forth, some people have nearly 20 of these 'variants' as 'friends'.

Yeah...but I'd like for that to happen soon...that or I need something to get me to forget buying shit for money.

Seems like people don't WANT my money. D:

They claim it was the lack of keys in the market to be traded. Nobody was buying them from the store so they went up.
Heh. At this rate, it's quite tempting to buy from the Mann Co store. I'd save me the trouble of trading an idiot who's not responding to trade invites, wants me to put shit in PayPal, and the prices are the same without fees. Hell, I even get a leetle gift for buying increments of $20.

Meh. Maybe I'll just find a way to bite down this desire to clean out my wish list. I'm currently closing all my trade tabs. D:
