Hello lovable Skial community,
today, 1 year ago, I have received this message into my inbox:
I want to take this opportunity to thank everybody again that made this possible for me. That are in particular the people that believed in me, upvoted my application and thought I'd deserve the chance.
This is the moment I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your upmost support.
I hope I have not letten anybody down on my road so far. It is my believing that everyone that appeals a ban, wether cheater/racist(ornot)/griefer should be treaten with the same respect as I would expect to be treated. Explaining the people why exactly they caused a problem thoroughly is important aswell I'd say. Talking is always the better solution to just plain saying no or not giving an explanation at all. Handing out a warning before actually punishing a client leaves them the chance to better themselves while still being able to play with the rest. Luckily I can say other people adapted this course, most notably @RMSniper who I love to see handling appeals that way, in friendly and explaining ways.
Anyways I'm driving off-topic, I'd also like to thank my admin-collegues. The team is awesome. The input I get from @DaivdBaekr or @Sarcasm are absolutly valuable. The comments @KillerZebra makes are on the edge of sarcastic and plain funny. You want an example? Here is Zebra's welcoming message. I didn't forget this particular one when I posted the first time into the admin section..:
I want to thank all the other admins I didn't mention, those that I am able to call for help. Usually @Meowcenary @Sargent¥ and @DavidtheTurkey (although David was usually most helpful when I was a new admin, by now I sadly do not find the time to talk to him so much again, but you are not forgotten!).
I also want to thank the people that are no longer with our community, in particular those are @TapTap and @Beetlejuice . These two have been very nice to me before I was accepted and always helped me when I had reports to make. I will not forget you and maybe you will return one day :).
I'd also like to thank the Nintendo-thread. Those are @sboles @EatMyMaymays @Samson and drshoe who i didnt find a tag for. I probably missed kyle and robotmafiastripper, but its usually the aformentioned who keep me up with the latest "gossips" even tho I dont usually reply to everything they write there.
Next I want to thank those that have added me to take the time and report all those nasty people that make our lives miserable (okay maybe i exaggerate this one) for their willingness to help make this community as awesome as it is.
I want to thank those people that hang around here and want to make useful suggestions, most recently it was @ly_dee 's suggestion of changing the sexism rule. It was such a simple thing to suggest, it caused waves of discussions. I am glad it was clarified. Everyone that brings such suggestions up, please keep them coming!
Next I want to thank @JohnnyGaloshes who I mistakenly called an american and he didn't rip my head off (yet). I am still sorry tho, how could I miss you are from Canada!!
There are many people I don't write with alot or at all in steam or this forum, but they keep the business running. They are honorary mentions and those are @D3xus Sensei @Fenix @Khed
Before everyone bashes me of how much of an emotional wreck I am I simply wanted to share a huge and big
Thank you all!
Every single one of you who participates here, be it in TF2 or solely on the forum to keep up with the community, you are awesome!
I can only hope I have kept up with everyones expecations. I am sometimes very stubborn, @RMSniper and BarbequeguyProphet know what I mean, but I only am because I believe in what I say and I try to make this a better place. Anyhow.
1 year is over. Let's see what the next one holds, shall we? This ain't T-Wayne appreciation day, it is my appreciation towards all of you who helped me become who I am now at this road so far.
<3
PS: The mappers should also get a mention, who always fix our problems. I am sorry you usually work like undercover and I dont even know all of you. @Cream Tea is just one example of an awesome team of workers.

, for not mentioning me, especially after pointing out your verbosity, and teaching you a new word.
