I've only ever seen this happen once before in TF2... In all my ~600 hours in that game, the only other unusual I've ever seen unboxed was a Flaming Pyro's Beanie. Apparently the effect on this one was Steaming, and the unboxer seemed disappointed that he unboxed that instead of a Strange Festive...
But he still wouldn't give it to me for free.
