I'm surprised a thread hasn't been made about this with the UFO's and posters being added to the maps.

So what's going on? Well back in July/Early August a teaser trailer for TF2 Invasion leaked. It can be viewed here.
(it leaked and got taken down multiple times so that's why this video has so little views). Not much was said after that until the UFO's and posters were added to various maps.. Then this came yesterday.



Morse code says "Poopy Joe is an inside job." There's a UFO flying in the sky near the end, a crop circle with the TF logo flashes at the end, and on the poster to the right where it's burnt a bit it says "Event Septemb".

So yeah...I think the update will come out this week. Get hyped.

I figure one will be coming. People on my YouTube channel said that the update would be the Halloween update...they're wrong.

One reason why I knew this update is coming soon is purely that VALVe doesn't tease things over a month in advance. Anytime something has been added to the skyboxes of maps there's a big update 5-7 days later.
 
The way VALVe and the makers of this community updates go about teasing is just amazing. I never really get hyped over things....but big TF2 updates just get me happy as all hell.
 
It's awesome that they keep adding new content to TF2, but it's starting to get kind of lame, they're trying too hard
 
But to tease something over a month in advance? Unless they keep pumping out teasers the hype will die down..or for me it will at least. Not to mention that in Muselk's latest video where he plays on the Alien maps..he says right at the end he says, "Put on your tinfoil hats and strap down your cows because the aliens are coming sooner than you think."



Now when I hear "soon" I don't think, "Oh a month or so wait." I think "Oh within the few days or so."

Yeah, and the Invasion makers plus VALVe agreed to put Invasion out after Gun Mettle ends to respect those involved in Gun Mettle stuff...even though Invasion was gonna come out last Thursday...but VALVe didn't have some entities done for a map.

Sucks we won't have a proper Halloween update though. That's my favorite time of the year for TF2.
