Sammy Merzel

Unremarkable User
Hi,

My name is Sammy Merzel. I am a sophmore in high school, and I've been a member for about 11 days now. My banned was overturned, as it turns out everyone was having the same situation. The issue, however, got to the admins a bit longer than usual, which is extremely rare. Talk about a rough start! Anyway, I'll still be donating and doing whatever I can to help out this website.

Thanks

I appealed, but it miserably failed. So, in other words, I'm permanently banned for something I didn't do. Sakiko and Meowcenary aren't believing me, so I'm basically screwed. Halp :(

Every server has a setting to enable cheats. Enabling these cheats allows the use of god mode, noclip, and other things.

This setting can only be turned on or off by the server owner or those who have access to the server's settings.

The only possible way to turn the cheats command on if you're not the server owner is by using a hack to force it on for you.

SMAC, a form of cheat protection the servers use, caught your computer trying to force the cheats command on using a hack and you were banned for it. Again, forcing sv_cheats to 1 is only possible through a hack without having access to the server settings. This means either you, or someone else, downloaded a hack and used it in TF2.

So in summary; Either you, or someone else, downloaded a hack and used it on the servers and SMAC detected it and banned you for it. Therefore, your account is staying permanently banned. Even if it wasn't you who used the hack, someone on your computer did and therefore we're keeping the account and your IP address banned to keep said person from returning.

I don't know how to make this any more clear.

No, it isn't! I swear, I was just saying that nothing could stop me from helping you guys out! I swear! (Sorry, I'm REALLY scared because you sound very intimidating and serious)
