Because most "real players" are butthurt on how they always get raepd
And how repetitive it is
It's basically the one map that got me way into TF2 when I first started playing it, I used to play 2fort every. single. day.
I like 2 fort, but playing it a lot I can see why people despise it.
Turtling engineers. Engineers can place a sentry ANYWHERE and somehow it always works, no matter, in the yard, in the sewers, in the intel room, everywhere
I like 2fort, great CTF map. I just like to play on maps that aren't mirrow to each other, two fort's red side and blue side are almost exactly the same in structure and etc. Not saying I don't liked mirrored maps it's just that 2fort gets... lame after a while
To me 2fort is just too narrow, with choke points at every corner and this encourages turtling game-play. Its like valve went "hey its team fortress 2 might as well add map from team fortress classic/quakeworld to give player that nostalgia feeling" but in reality it did not. The 2fort quake version to the 2fort tfc actually feel pretty similar with hardly any differences. While the tf2 version just feels way too cramp. Idk I just feel that 2fort just belongs to a different era.
Not gonna post a tf2 2fort vid since everyone know how it setup
