Abraham Lincoln

Scarcely Lethal Noob
Now honestly i have never posted on these forums so i don't know if this is the right thread.

before but i loged into a trade server and started asking if anyone had the Horsemanns Headtaker, a guy said he did an untradable one but he said he would promise to get gift wrap from a friend, and i was gullible enough to accept this and now i feel stupid, i already reported a violation and scene the trade he has: changed his name about 6 times, blocked communications and left whenever i entered his server, heres his steam id, and a picture of the trade history.

Please respond quickly i want to get this guy as soon as possible
(he was known as wolf death when i accepted the trade and none of his friends says they had gift wrap or did not respond.)

Proof that the scammer has been reported before and has been attempting to scam people.

Wait, so you wanted a HHH, and some guy said he will give it to you when he gets his friend's giftwrap which may or may not exist AFTER you payed him?

Im not sure, but i dont think it was on one of the skail maps
If the trade didn't happen on a Skial server we unfortunately have no way of investigating what this guy may have done.

Also, what proof do you have regarding screen captures?

You may be honest, Abe, but we also need proof to do anything or help you.

i updated the post, it proves that the transaction happened, but im still trying to get proof.

(i found this on steamrep and this is not my report but it is proof of the scammer doing this repeatedly)
I just got proof that he IS attempting to scam people and has had other reports on him

i dont undersatnd why this was rejected but it DOES show this, considering this is EXACTLY the way he was speaking.

Is there anything you can do as of now or do you have any other suggestions that i can take?

In the SteamRep report you're talking about (found here), HelenAngel rejected it because "we don't tag for begging for items or discounts". Since the previous SR report was invalid, I won't be taking it into consideration.

The trade history you posted a screenshot of doesn't tell me much. When screenshotting trade histories, be sure to hover your mouse over the person's profile URL so that it's included in the screenshot, because that could be anybody.

I'm not too sure what I'm looking for in that video (which actually made me feel a bit seasick with that strange angle). If you can give me the timestamps in that video so I know where to look for evidence (a good chunk of it was scrolled past too quickly for me to read without pausing multiple times), I can try to review that server chat log for you.

This report needs a bit more evidence before I can tag the guy for scamming. Also, moving this thread to the reports section right now.

"The trade history you posted a screenshot of doesn't tell me much. When screenshotting trade histories, be sure to hover your mouse over the person's profile URL so that it's included in the screenshot, because that could be anybody."- the link to the steam account can show previous names and shows that he HAS changed his name in a short amount of time; The 7:00 time since last night. So it is proof that this is the same person and i have his steam id.

There are over 180 pages of people named "Troll". Without seeing the exact URL that profile goes to, we can't consider it proof.

I'm wondering why you are reporting it here.

It didn't happen on a Skial server. We don't have a spawn protect plugin and skial does not show up on the bottom left.
