Lrn2read, this is the only Humble Bundle that isn't cross platform, which is why HIB is getting some heat from the communities.

That and the fact that it is not Indie. (HB btw, HiB = Humble Indie Bundle)

np, but HB is notable for making/distributing Linux/Mac ports of those games. This really sucks though because it SHOULD show THQ that there's more than meets the eye when it comes to both OSX and Linux Distros, they're going to come off as either lazy or they don't know shit about anything else. Thank god for Windows 8, poor Windows 8.

They've been going downhill the past 5 years or so with UDraw, Homefront and as a "fatality" factor by life, the fact that their stocks were threatened to be unlisted and therefore their stocks feel from $5 to $0.70
> Essentially, they didnt have enough cash to make the ports. That and a probable combination of bad THQ employees (not the lower ones, but the higher ones with six-figure salaries. Remember seeing a gigantic discussion about it on Reddit, and a story on Kotaku about layed-off employees whom wanted to send a public message to THQ staff)

You should as well. You realize I was bitching about the fact I have a mac, therefore cannot play any good games, right?

I just re-read your reply that you and NothingMuch are discussing about. In his defense, I don't think most people would understand "GOD DAMN YOU FRUIT!" as upon futher clarification by the message I am quoting, it seems like you were just being silly and FRUIT = Apple.

If you're implying that Mac doesn't have good games, you're stupid. And that's my point, you have a Mac, you bought Windows only games, you fucked up, unless you dual boot or use a VM. (If the games are supported on a VM)

Wait, so some just didn't care or what? Link me to the reddit thing.

The only windows only games I have are the twelve copies of DotA 2 I got. And Mac has a rather shitty selection of "good" games in my opinion.

Try Desura, when the client comes out for it, there's a few decent games from indie devs there. Dota 2 SHOULD be coming out for Mac (If there's a Linux port in the works), but if not, try HoN (Heroes of Newerth), it's cross platform and pretty good (not on steam or anywhere else except the dev's website). If there's mods out there that you can't try then you would be right, as Valve has yet to release the Source SDK for Mac.

so warhammer is in the bundle
Warhammer 40k: GOTY Edition just got added.

Anyone who has bought the BTA version or has bought the below average before anything (Titan Quest, Red Faction DLC, Warhammer) was added gets this too.

On another note, the THQ Humble Bundle is ending in 2 days and is still 800k away from the most successful HB so far, HiB 5. Anyone think that the THQ bundle will be more successful than HiB 5? (If it doesn't, I think it's just the timing of things. Only reason I see not buying it is if you already own the games you are interested in, and are not interested in the games that you do not own)
