Why would you ever think he's loosing money?
We have no information of what seller you bought it from, but I'll assume that he has one of the cheapest prices and he's got thousands of feedback, most likely a LTD company.. therefore he's quiet demanded and probably sells at-least 20 - 50 of those cases daily.
The label doesn't mean shit, as he probably sells tons of shit and has hundreds of orders daily, he has some type of contract with the company that delivers his shit, therefore.. he's probably paying something around .50 - 1$ for each of the packages, to actually ship them.. It's profitable for both of the sides, as he has shit tons of orders which keeps the money flowing..
He also most likely purchases those cases in bulks, like 1000 or 10000 units, and only pays roughly .50 ( or maybe even less, depends on the case) for each of the cases, so to sum it up, he only spends roughly $1.00 on both delivery and item. Then he sells it to you for $2.99 (two cases) and makes .99$ profit, and as he probably sells shit tons of those cases daily, monthly or whatever, he get's a reasonable profit out of it.
I also say shit a lot..
My values are not accurate, but they give you an idea..
