This thread is explicitly for "oldfags" to cry about a non-existent problem in a public manner that only serves to exacerbate the non-existent problem that does, in fact, exist in their own eyes.

It's the same everywhere. You've got cry babies whining about the "STATE OF THE COMMUNITY", you've got "trolls" (really, not an accurate word to describe jackasses in general), and you have people who are able to see things for what they are and to respond in kind.

Just because you're feeling bored or neglected or whatever the fuck it is doesn't mean anyone wants to read it.

Go take up a new hobby and find the nearest tissue with which to dry your tears, gentlemen.

Alternatively, I can recommend a few online support groups as an alternative to vent your inherent frustrations in an infinitely more effective manner.

Get the hell over it, newfags can and will wreak havoc around these so-called "internets" as you so speak. The terminology isn't even proper for "oldfags" either, since those terms have become such a standard to pretty much everyone thanks to people like RWJ and other people bringing the internet IRL. Such as Facebook. I say if you can't beat them, join them.

There will ALWAYS and I repeat, ALWAYS be these "newfags" around the internet, if you want to you can go back in time into your own little hole and rot where you think that the internet was good, when in reality you were once called a "newfag".

Bottom line, get the fuck over it you whiny fucking bitch.
 
Yeah, because it's only the "newfags" that are causing trouble and shit in the community and most of the people around here seem to just kid around and joke with eachother, some are just plain ol' jackasses that needs proper disciplin, but if you think leaving skial will solve the annoying "newfag" problem of yours then go ahead, get out there and rage over the thousands of "newfags" that haven't joined or got banned from skial.

Well, I can't say I didn't expect this response.
I spoke brashly in my OP, and people responded brashly. I can understand how many of you are speaking, and I can't say I wouldn't say the same if I was in the position.
I'd like to rephrase my OP, if I could.
YES I KNOW the title "Too many newfags" is a very bad subject line to start things off with. YES I KNOW that the OP makes me seem like a cranky old man. YES I KNOW that the general populous disagrees with me.
But I'm going to say what I really meant.
I really, really dislike the attitude that is attached to this forum. The petty insults, the blatant lapses of any kind of sense, the general smugness that many denizens have. I really can't stand people who can't accept that they're wrong, when people can't say "Yes, I was wrong, let's move on with our lives." I can't stand how many threads have to get locked because of two or three people hitting each other with proverbial wet mops. I really attributed this to "newfags" because this is really the behavior of many of the new members of the forums. That's why I left.
I hope that cleared things up a bit.

Hey, guess what, I'm not wrong. Do you think I don't like the way certain people act around here? Do I run away with my tail between my legs? No, and neither should you.

If there's one thing I'm completely unapologetic for it's being myself. And honestly, you people haven't even scratched the surface of how fucking bizarre I am. Yeah, it's a bitch when someone takes me to task for it. But what am I gonna do, switch brains? Prostrate myself endlessly? Run off and find another community that will probably treat me worse? Dude, if people are doing something that bugs you. Just smack them with your verbosity and go about your business. In the end, no one will think less of you for it. Unless they do, then it's their issue to work out. Never prostrate yourself to the internet, even the best of cases. The internet brings out the worst of people and for all it's flaws, Skial is floating in the creme of web communities.


Take a deep breath, down a beer, smoke a joint, do what's necessary, let it wash off. Come back later or tomorrow and people will have moved on. Trust me, I am well versed in this bullshit.

Instead of being passive aggressive, confront people you have a problem with. Otherwise, nothing ever gets fixed, and you never get what you want.

I mean, yeah. You could always leave the community because you don't like a few people there. Or you can try to fix your problems like an adult. Sure, some people can't handle that, but that's the way life works sometimes.
