At the risk of looking like a complete idiot, I recently discovered that this server runs HlStatsX. I'm a bit of a stat-whore and previous servers I've played on showed print-outs in the chat when you did stuff that gave/took points. I was wondering if there was a way to turn that on on the skial servers. Currently I'm shift tabbing and F5ing a browser page with my stats on it. lol.

Hopefully this makes sense and is in the right section

You mean that chat spam in green text that is annoying as fuck and most people are glad we don't use?
 
I would rather not have the points spam up the chat. I stop playing on servers like the one with the quake sounds and ingame stats because it is so annoying.
 
Since apparently something that a lot of groups use is confusing to Zebra, here's a picture of it (Albit a shitty one, sorry I just don't like the chat spam alerts)

It shows up as points on the server to everyone. Zebra headshots cinic and dominates him while defending a point. Chat then spams one alert for each with the total points

KillerZebra got 2 points for Headshotting CiniC
KillerZebra got 2 points for Defending point
KillerZebra got 2 points for Dominating CiniC

And this shit gets spammed into the chat for everyone to see, along with normal chat.
 
Now, I THINK there's a hud mod for this honestly. It adds a separate chat window in the top right of the screen that tracks your points. I've seen it in a few youtube videos on tf2, but not sure what it's called.
 
How about not showing the annoying green text, but when you type rank or top10 it shows your rank/stats and the top10 players

Please change your Avatar. I'm getting sick of preparing to pimpslap Zebra only to realize it's you.
 
You can keep track of your stats in your current session in-game obviously. The rest of the stats aren't updated in real-time anyways (anywhere from 15-30 minutes depending on when you get on). You just get spammed in-chat with the other stuff. Doing that real-time would most likely overload the servers as we have too many servers running for it to run smoothly. Also, if you're playing just for the stats YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG

Says one of only two people in this thread NOT to have their stats linked in the signature. Well played sir ;)

I'll just assume it can't be done and be greatful for the empty chat box, cheers for the help guys
