Fairly inexperienced with the game, but I'm picking up skills as I go along. I try to switch classes to whichever one will help the team best, but I personally prefer Soldier, Heavy, and Medic.

Sorry about that- I wasn't thinking when I posted that. I've removed that bit now so I won't make myself look like some kind of beggar

Hi,

If you haven't already, try out some of the things in Advanced Options. Things like damage text and auto-calling for medic can help immensely.

I triggered those as soon as I started the game. Quite frankly, I'm surprised that they aren't active by default- there's no reason to have them off.
