Heelp meee... Tf2 won't start up.

I looked it up on google. Found the solution on the steam forums, says i just need to restart steam. Apparently it was caused by when hl2 crashed it didn't close a certain part of team fortress two making it so i couldn't open the file untill that was closed. this thread is useless now.
