Heavy loss of AP points​

Details:

I got onto TF2 today, joining a Skial server, the previous day I had over 4000 AP points, today I now have 1152. My friend also checked, he had dropped lowly too to about 1200. I joined a different server to find no change, as well as restarting TF2 with no change.​

Can confirm. I went from about 13.3k AP to 4000 today.

Supposedly bottiger said "There was a bug in the AP cleanup routine so it didn't run for a month." As far as I know we are supposed to lose about 5% every day so it seems that everyone lost the AP they would have lost anyway. It's just a lot more noticeable because we lost an entire month's worth in one day.
