if you get this message, from an invite/notification treat it as a scam.

The thing which should really raise red flags if you haven't clocked it already, is where it asks for your e-mail password

I said it before and I'll say it again. This is why it pays to be paranoid about what you click on, and who you trade with.

Im paranoid, but the method of delivery on this one had me going for a minute, I initialy thought it was legit. of course until i read the url.

Yeah, I got a chat request from that thing like 20 mins ago. Ignored it when it wanted me to click on an url.

People actually fall for this?
As i said, for a minute i was thinking it was steam, but when i checked the cracks appeared. but yeah people do fall for it, thats why they keep doing it.. blanket a 1,000 people you only need 1 person to fall in the trap to make some money.

Stupid. But looks like the real web-page, and if you don't look at the URL you're an idiot. But, in one word, scammer.

I got a chat invite from that guy.

Looks like he played on our servers for 20 minutes at some point and that's it. He has no bans on our servers. Profile is private. His SteamRep is clear... For now. Should definitely be reported to both SR and Valve.
The people who share the link are probably just some fools who clicked and filled out the form on the fake site, not the actual scammers.

The actual steam login only has your steam user and password. Big red flags, and then the URL too.
I feel bad for anyone that falls for this.
