Earlier today Smokey and I were talking about my PC's graphics and how an integrated Radeon 3000 isn't the workhorse it used to be, had it ever been good to begin with.
He pointed out one of these, and started looking into compatibility with my current PCI slots. Long story short, the card plugs into PCIEX 2.1 x16, and after looking at my Asus model on newegg and opening it up, I have a PCIEX 2.0 x16 slot.
Looked through some tech forums and from what I can gather 2.1 should be backwards compatible with a 2.0 slot, but I'd like someone on here who's knowledgeable to confirm / deny if this is the case before I spend $60 and wait a couple weeks to find out myself.
