I wanna get a new graphic card for either my b-day or Christmas so I dont lag terribly in games like DayZ or COD. Ideas?

Depends on the budget. I wouldn't bother if you play casually on your PC though, since good graphics cards cost like $400+, but if you've got the money...

Meh, I'd hope to not be spending 100$'s of dollars but I mainly game on my PC anymore so it may be a good idea.

Yeah, getting a good card will save you from upgrading too soon and losing even more cash.

Mines a GTX 550TI. Runs perfect at most games highest quality.
Might not be a bad place to start for one maybe.

Ya my laptops are only a year old so there pretty good but I'd love to lag less in games like CoD (shuddup people) and DayZ since I currently cant even move while playing them.

P.S. I also plan on getting a memory card so that should help right?

Keep in mind that graphic cards are not the only solution to not lag terribly. (A few friends of mine thought actually thought this)

What are your computer specs and your budget? What FPS are you aiming for, and at what graphics setting?

A memory card is for storing data. It in no way makes games run faster.

Thanks for this! Looked it up and saw theres a newer one? Either way, looks pretty good with great reviews everywhere and seems semi-cheap.

Sounds like if you're having problems playing DayZ it's probably your processor/RAM. I honestly don't know how graphics intensive it is but I've seen some videos and it's not even close to CoD.

It wasn't bad for me about 150 - 200$. I got my PC built my self under 800$ So it wasn't a bad budget.

Well now that I think about it I've been trying to run DayZ mainly on my old desktop (gotta delete some stuff) so maybe thats my problem there. Thought with MW2 its like running through amber.

Running games on Laptops can be a pain in the ass sometimes depending what you got it for originally.
