Give hats to players on private server
Hello! I'm setting up a private password-protected server for me and my friends. I'm looking for a way to make us wear hats we don't actually wanna buy. It's already possible with taunts - there is an easy-to-find plugin for that. But I've hardly found anything about doing this with cosmetics.
Apparently it is possible because according to [this thread](https://www.skial.com/threads/equip-any-hat-or-weapon.84977/), someone seems to have done it already. However, they decided not to make their plugin public to give their servers an advantage over others. I somewhat understand that, but I just wanna privately have some fun with my friends, so this pretty unfortunate.
So does anyone know anything? I'd try developing a solution myself, but I have zero experience with TF2 modding and I would really like to have this ready for new year's eve. Thanks in advance!
