So, as we all know TF2Lobby is a popular site in which users can participate in quick 6v6 or 9v9 games set under most competitive settings.

However there are a couple of problems with the site, such as being down sometimes, some servers not working properly, trolls, and no item whitelists.

I am just wondering what you guys think of the site in general. I feel that it can be really helpful if you're just getting into competitive, but once you become more experienced in compTF2, lobby just seems like more of a joke than practice.

So, leave your opinions below!

the word noob is tossed around a lot there and eveyone wants the sniper slot so they can show eveyone their quick scopezz swag little too much cancer for my liking

spy is usually taken faster than sniper
Well whatever everyone wants to take (______) position and if they don't they cry like babbies and say wow noob let me be (_____) because I can team carry then you agree to it and that same mother fucker talking all that shit ends up bottom fraging that has been my experience with this the 10 times I have tried it

spy and sniper get taken immediately

And medic is normally last :(

I remember one lobby where it took an hour to get one medic. I actually went off and started playing TF2 and almost forgot that I was in it, until the "READY TO FIGHT" screamed through my headset.

because why would anyone want to play medic with randoms in a lobby

Being a steel medic with only 3 lobbies trying to get practice:

Site itself's fine. The people are irreparably fucked.

The 6v6 lobbies are useless, everyone plays deathmatch, nobody protects the medic, it takes forever to find 2 fools who actually join as medic just to be able to start a game. If you want practice get some friends together on mumble go on tf.wars, say "div3-6 off now" and guaranteed to have answers in seconds, it's really busy with lot of 6s teams in the afternoons.

The highlander lobbies are actually much better, they are basically pubs with players that not completely new to the game, no 4 sniper 5 spy setup and no random crits, people tend to play mostly towards the objectives, I definitely consider these better than playing on pub servers. Since it isn't as easy to get a HL scrim going and HL generally speaking needs lower skill level than 6s I think lobbies are a good way to get into "competitive" tf2.

Actually. As a UGC Tinfoil Medic. I like being treated as a god on Lobbies. They worship my magic healing stick as if I descended from the heavens.

HL matches are usually fun, but a good percentage (like 80%) of people playing sixes is totally fucked up. Oh, you played less than 50 matches? *kick kick kick*
