i got the 10.6.8 update so i redownloaded it last night and i came home to that

Do the regular Garry's Mod maps work? Like Flat_grass (or whatever it is called) or the other map that comes default with GMOD?

Also try to place some props on the ground, from the Half Life section and counter strike sections of the prop list. also from the other sections, drop props down.

nope i pressed 'q' clicked the brown couch and stood on it

yes... it might've also installed wrong. Try to cahce both games. play the game, if it doesn't work, restart steam and try again. if that doesn't work you may have to re-install.....

you do have it to where it's grabbing the game info right? Also you could try taking all the games texture files and adding them to garrys mod directly

Yeah in like the bottom corner it says the games and counter strike is checked right
How do i add the texture files manually? :o im dumb

I think this is a mac exclusive problem. I still haven't gotten a fucking mobo and this awful thing refuses to load most viewmodels/textures.

This is Garry's problem, not Valve's. CS:S works fine otherwise, and should for you, too.

Yeah css does work, but steam still has a lot of problems on mac
