LordThree was on tonight sounding fairly drunk, and was talking a lot on the mic. He was kind of funny at first, but it started getting a little annoying. I said nothing, however. But when I ubercharged a Demo and went into the enemy team's spawn area, I said "Operation Iraqi Freedom motherfuckers!" on voice, then LordThree started freaking out, calling me a fag, fatass, and spook ("Spook as in a nig", he said). I of course didn't really care, but he seemed extremely easy to anger, so I started trolling him a bit. I carried it on a bit too far, but then I got votemuted by a large group of friends who came in. I thought it was fair and didn't complain. I changed my name to his as a joke but reverted it.

However, once my mute expired, I apologized to him on voice, saying that though we've had problems for a while, I didn't hate him. Then he and his friends start mass-insulting me and yelling at me on their mics before flooding me with votemutes and votebans over and over, with Lord non-stop yelling on his mic. I got angry and insulted him but it just egged his friends on. Eventually two others, Drew and Bilbo, joined, and asked why Lord could talk all he wanted but I couldn't say anything. Lord and friends then proceeded to try to mute and ban them as well as me, casting votes over and over again which failed. When another user, Farrah Frost, told them to stop, Lord started insulting her as well.

I eventually muted Lord and tried to ignore him but his friends continued to insult me over textchat and spam me with votemutes and votebans. I unmuted Lord to ask him if he could just please stop, then his friends and he told me to "fucking leave and stop ruining the server". I asked why Lord could insult me but I couldn't retort, but all they responded with was "Because you're annoying." I asked why they liked Lord, and they told me to shut up. I got fed up with it and left because his friends started filing reports against me for "griefing".

I then talked to Drew and Farrah:

This has been going on for some time, it seems. I for one am sick of it after only one day. I don't care if Lord is a donator or not, he has no right to insult and harass users at random then attempt to call foul play when others do the same to him. I apologize for trolling and for initially provoking him, but he never stopped after, and when I asked "I've stopped, so why not tell Lord to stop?" Their answer was "Because it's your (my) fault". This is ridiculous and it needs to stop.​

Sadly I don't have the console logs of votemutes as I exited my game abruptly and frustrated, but through rcon/other administrative tools, you can browse through them and find where they called votes on me well over a dozen times.
 
Only going through lordthree's stats, he called two votes on this fellow in a relatively short amount of time.
 
I can second this. Lord Three has had it out with me over the span of months. It always devolves into some petty name calling and him threatening to "get me banned". He has pulled the old vote mute over and over crap on me as well. Also, every time my girlfriend (Farrah) he calls her a "cunt" or any number of things to that effect. Now I by no means am claiming innocence and saying that I say nothing, but I never threaten to have him and his group of supporters permabanned, because I know that's dumb. him and members of this ITG clan seem to think they own the server, when they aren't present I never seem to have any problems.
 
I can vouch for that as well. Farrah joined in and he instantly began insulting her, and Farrah didn't even seem to know who he was. They also talked about her before she even got on.

When I first started playing on the Skial Turbine server ages ago, LordThree kept going on and on on the mic, slurring and being generally annoying. I asked if he was drunk, and then that got him started. He kept calling me a cunt over and over, and everytime I would log in, he would announce to everyone over voice that "Oh god, that cunt Farrah is here." After awhile, it got to be annoying, and I just muted him. This apparently pissed him off, because there would be constant votebans against me, although none of them ever passed. He would just spam them every few minutes to the point where I would just leave due to the constant harassment.

So, now that I've got him muted, he apparently keeps calling me a cunt, a bitch, a whore, over and over, although (thankfully!) I can no longer hear him (unless mute is being faulty and I can still hear him, that is). Everytime I'm on there when LordThree is, he's constantly writing nasty things about me in text, or he's saying them over voice. How do I know he's still going on about me if I have him muted, you say? Well, sometimes the mute function doesn't work, but most of the time, I'll see people typing in text things like "Wow, Farrah is a cunt?" or "What did Farrah do?" or "Why does LordThree hate Farrah so much lolz".

I never respond anymore to the utter crap he spews, because he's obviously a pissed off alcoholic, but when is enough enough? His friends, which he does have a few in his "clan" mostly side with him, and I get that. Some people don't like me, and everyone's entitled to their own opinions. If someone really bothers me, then I mute them. I've just never heard as much vitriol coming out of someone's mouth as I have with this old guy. However, it's gotten to the point now where his presence bothers me to the point of being so uncomfortable that I usually just stop responding to anyone and eventually just log off.

There are idiots all over the internet. We all know this. And I never post on these forums because I feel like it's pretty useless most of the time. The problem I have right now is that this has gone too far. Some of the people in the ITG clan bend over backwards to stick up for this guy, which isn't really the issue. The issue is how they threaten to perma-ban people from the server for having a problem with LordThree. I've been on the receiving end of this hatred for months now and it's just silly. I've had people from the ITG clan, along with half a dozen other regulars who reached out to me and told me that something should be done. I really don't know what else to do, aside from not playing on that particular server anymore, but I don't think that's fair. Just because there are a few vocal LordThree supporters doesn't mean that I shouldn't be able to play on that server as well. I want to reiterate that SOME members of the ITG clan are elitist, not all, or even the majority. I'm not trying to flame anyone else in particular here, and I wouldn't even bother posting this but like I said, it's gotten to the point where I literally feel uncomfortable being around this guy.


I really do enjoy the Skial Turbine server and would like to become a donator, but I just don't want to donate cash to a place where people get banned because someone doesn't like them. This LordThree guy makes it his duty to make my time on the server absolutely miserable and it's not fair.

I'm sure I'm going to get tons of flak for this post and some people will call me all sorts of names or tell me to quit whining. But, for those that are interested in this, I invite you to come to the server and witness it for yourself. Sit back, set up your sentries, and listen to this guy drunkenly slur his bitterness all over the microphone. At the very least, it'll be a good show.

I'd appreciate if an admin who ISN'T in the same clan as LordThree would look into this further, because, let's face it. Nepotism bites.
 
From reading your text chat I would probably try to get all of my friends to silence you too. I will mark this "Needs Evidence" because I have no proof that the votes were not justified.

You're marking my thread off for reasons and events that happened days and then months ago with no relation to this simply because you "want to punch me in the face". I agree that I have trolled in the past, I acknowledge that and have apologized and not taken it as far ever since. Anything mysoginistic or racist or whatever I've said just to troll is still terrible and stupid of me, it's my fault and I've taken the blame for it before. However, it's only happened twice. Twice in the past, and one other instance I was admin-silenced/banned it was lifted because the admin thought it had been wrongful.

And yes, I did troll LordThree too tonight at the outset, only because he began insulting me. When I tried to apologize, when I tried to stop, he simply wouldn't stop himself, and kept insulting me, Drew, and Farrah, along with his friends, and spamming votemutes and votebans.

The past has nothing to do with the current situation. While it's sensible to not be trusting of me, you still shouldn't pass off an entire report solely because of me having gotten in trouble in the past. It's very hard to prove voice harassment; I have no game recording software and have no idea how to use Sourcerecord. I didn't even think of recording them; all I could think was that I was getting tremendously harassed by a group of people over me asking one of their friends to be quiet and was probably going to get banned for it since I kept getting reported or votemuted/votebanned by them, and they continuously threatened to call in admins; "Faze" or "Phase" or "Fade" or something like that, and some other guy, "Dave" I think.

Yeah, I understand that. It's why I'm currently 1-month text blocked, was nearly 1-month voice blocked (though none of it was done over voice), and am now eligible for a permanent text AND voice ban if I ever do such things again. Even before I was commblocked I felt bad. I had some very, very upsetting and miserable days for the latter part of December due to issues with a very good friend of mine, and RL issues carried over when I got ragey/angry/butthurt on the server because I kept dying to people with anime avatars and hearts in their name. That's not an excuse, it's just the circumstance. It was wrong, and I apologized for it and had no excuses, whether I felt bad or not. I admitted all of this directly and took blame for it, however.

But whatever I did isn't the issue. The issue is that Lord and his friends have been doing this for months to some people, extensively and intensively. He didn't even know who I was yet he insulted and hated on me tonight, long before I ever even mentioned he'd done this before to me. So even when he had no clue we'd ever argued before, he still got on my case.

The only time Lord Thee has called a vote on any player in the past 10 days (that is as far back as the chat log goes) has been against you, today.

How am I supposed to go back and record a Demo of it? I'll record him the next time he's on if that's what you're asking without even provoking him, but I don't know any file-sharing sites to upload it too, and I still don't like the fact you're accusing me and two others of lying just because I've received mutes in the past. And I know for a fact he's called more votes. I've read on other ban reports here HLStats is sometimes inaccurate. Believe me or not, he voted against me me over, and over, and over again, and bragged about it in chat.
