This suggestion has been closed. Votes are no longer accepted.
I believe transparency is important and we should be allowed to see who is voting and whether their votes should be counted.
I like this suggestion. Sure you won't like this suggestion because it's Cream Tea, but I do actually want to see how many people voted, publicly. It should include how many people downvoted or upvoted.

This is a nice suggestion, but still has bad flaws. The first thing i thought of is that people would seek out opinions they don't support and harass others for it, all because you don't want to give the clear vision of who voted what
for example, there can be a good suggestion, but then, some popular people of the community could downvote and it would start a long argument, rather than just see the count go down a vote
Yes, the thing i would personally suggest is to have the rating like it was on youtube, Likes and Dislikes. But i don't really know, as on the other hand, you have a clear point here.
Also, polls do exist. And just think about it, wouldn't it be trashy if people had to manually check everyone? this feature could be good on really important aspects, such as changing rules or delete/start servers and stuff

it’s not a bad suggestion imo actually.

but i will agree that there may be people who would get harassed or targeted for providing their vote or opinion towards different suggestions.

and everyone’s opinion matters as well, we can’t discard their vote out of favoritism or hatred.

so i’d say it’s best to keep it anonymous.

We all know that Bottiger typically goes through the comments to gauge what suggestions to accept so the whole poll thing hardly matters.

You can already flame and whine when you don’t like somebody’s opinion.

I'm tired of inactive players thinking their opinion still matters.

Imagine if people’s votes were made public in national elections…
This is not a national election.

I agree.
Some servers let you have a option to hide people who voted, like upvoted or downvoted. However, some people prefer to not hide.

This is goofy. Why would anyone want to waste time editing the site to make votes public just to open up the floodgates for harassment because someone voted against or for something someone else doesn’t like.
