this is his first ever map and for a first map it looks good

Features Include:
-21 traps
-7 songs to choose from in music room
-4 unique minigames (kart race, castle arena, hide-and-seek and obby)
-lots of demomen
-SCRUMPE!!!

Description:
A mysterious facility operated by demomans, what could go wrong? well, EVERYTHING!
Discover the building, travel down its vents, explore rooms filled with toxic goo, and jump in with the flow of gallons of unnecessary water! (demomans like to waste all fluids that arent alcohol)
get to the canals to find the man responsible for all the madness happening in the facility, THAT PESKY BLUE TEAM! Look out though, they know about your presence, and will use all means in their disposal to stop you!

+1 I don't comment often, but this map deserves an additional +1. It's way better than average (in terms of what comes out nowadays). And I'm very harsh when rating maps, so that should say something.

From what I've heard, this map is EXTREMELY high on edicts. There is a very realistic chance of this map crashing due to edict overflow. It peaked at more than 1700 during a playtest. Imagine a full server, with donators using 4 cosmetics...trails...projectiles from stickies...and who knows what else.

Needs serious edict optimization.

This is from the last DE test. The map author has cut down the edicts by 400 and its now in stable condition.

That would only be one extra cosmetic edict per player. That leaves under three hundred edicts for the other stuff you described. I think it's unlikely to crash a server. Bear in mind that the peak edict figure is usually reached on round reset, and post-reset the number of active edicts will go down because things have been put into templates or will have been deleted. Stickies and needles won't be present on round reset.
