time for a new vegas thread.

lovingly termed by roman as the poor man's skyrim. even though that title should probably go to oblivion.

I'm doing a play-through until skyrim goes on sale.

so do you like the game? love it? hate how buggy it is?

anywho, post thoughts / favorite character types. (I'm going through as normal / melee character)

like getting good karma for killing cripples?
 
Bump the luck attribute all the way up.
Leave everything else at one.
Play through the game just leveling up unarmed and survival.
Select no perks
Use only fists
Hardcore mode.

jah, it isn't ALWAYS green. it takes me forever to play through this time because I'm reading everything..... except for those damn caravan instructions. I'm not playing cards with someone if i can just kill them and take their stuff with impunity.

And watch how much ammo you carry. I can't tell you have many times I've been screwed over for just carrying 500 5mm bullets
 
might buy some of the expansions later on. anyone know if they are worth the cash?

Are you smoking Jet or something? Caravan is like free money!
 
And besides, playing Caravan is just another unnecessary step in taking someone's money. Just avoid it and pickpocket them, take everything, leave a grenade, and wait. Preferably 15 feet away.
 
You play FO:NV vastly different from how I play it. Which is part of the charm.
 
i love the perk where you kill people in their sleep. every barracks I came across after that was suddenly just a pile of dead bodies. also, moving dead bodies is hilarious.

Acquire Sandman Perk
Go to Nellis Airforce Base
Kill the same child 9001 times
Obtain infinte XP.

Delete Title Update #5
Disconnect from your wireless (or wired) internet
Play Fallout
Go to Primm
Go to Vikki and Vance
Buy 1000000 chips
Cash them all in
again....
and again.....
and again.....
Acquire infinite profit.
