This proves you don't know the rules. So why do you deserve to be an admin if you don't know them?
^This PROVES that Commander Derpy did not even read the whole thread before posting, he already answered that on the previous post.^

LOL, then by all means... Party on! but be prepared for Party Poopers to have an easy killing spree

Well, I guess it sucks that admin applications aren't considered based on the cleverness of the applicant.

Overall, I'd give the applicant a +0.

He has a very high playtime, seems helpful and friendly, and is well liked by the server, which are some traits that Skial looks for in potential admins. However, his disregard of reading the server rules before posting his application is definitely a bad sign. Rules are rules, and if you don't break up a friendly party or ban the players, then you aren't really doing your job.

I don't feel you should -1 over a single mistake. He didn't say he wouldn't bam for hacking or would allow racism. He just did not take proper action in disbanding the sewer party. Once corrected, he acknowledged it. He doesn't stand for and advocate them. New admins make mistakes. The rule on sewer parties isn't black and white and many users can not be aware of it. That being said, I'll throw in a +1.

He's levelheaded and laidback, and has a good judgement, even taking into consideration his fault over the issue of sewer parties.

He's not snotty arrogant or stuck up and I am sure he can easily adapt to correctly fulfill a role as an admin.

I also thoroughly respect at his attempts at balancing athletics with online gaming.

I think you guys are blowing this way out of the water, I thought it was very clever of him

+1 FARUKON PAWNCH!

Plus I liek his name, and he's seems very nice and generous, not like zebra

Not sure how this works but everybody else is doing it.

+1
He's always on and never causes any problems, other than killing me all the damn time. Being as he's a regular on the same server I frequent, I think he's be a great assist to the servers.

(Now does this earn me a free pass on the bridge?)

After reading both sides of the +1 and -1 arguements, I'm going to leave my opinion at a +\- 0 until swayed otherwise.

+1 for FP

Who cares about friendlies and sewer parties? Honestly? I've never seen an admin, ANYWHERE, do something about them. Hell, on Skial, I've only ever seen an admin maybe 2 or 3 times. Once they perma banned a crit hacker, the other times they kicked people sitting in spawn defeating the AFK timer.

So long as he does at least that, and doesn't play favorites, I say let em have it. And I've no reason to believe he'd play favorites.

+1 ... I've known this guy for some time, and seen him around the servers. He does good, and is a pretty cool sniper.... without me behind him though. :3
I think he deserves the spot.

And on the note of the friendlies; there isn't really any rule on people partying and starting their own little part of the game. In some cases, it even makes the game more interesting... And since most of the parties happen in the never-ending hell hole that is 2fort, it's not that big of a deal.

The bigger problem is the hackers, the people who call other people hackers, and the people who get called hackers because they're just plain better.

You know, I hate it when my team is so incompetent that they just wanna have "fun" well if your definition of fun involves you people doing absolutely nothing- You know, lemme explain better, lemme say that idiots like friendlies kill a fucking game. Think of your "playground" as everybody else's "danger" zone, outside of spawn. What the fucking fuckballs are you gonna expect from people that kill you? "Oh god don't kill me I'm friendly." Oh really? When there's an obvious majority that's out there to kill you? That should speak for itself. You ARE hindering the game from progression on your team.

To the guy above:

Just walking around with a conscientious objector, make the game more interesting, when what, some dude says that "oh okay, I'm gonna kill you now, POW, oh I missed, your turn". How interesting is that? IMO The only way a game gets interesting is with Alltalk enabled, but that's not the point, the point is that your 'playground' is not just YOUR 'playground' unless as stated by the owner of the servers, which in this case it isn't, it's everybody's playground, owned by the owner who makes the rules, play by the rules or find another server. 2fort or not, it's still a violation of the rules.

+/-0 for now unless this dude can show his passion and dedication to moderation/administrative rights and abide by the rules.

Didn't know one simple question on friendly parties in the sewers can lead to so much debate and opinions...

I love the information I am receiving from both sides, and the passion of each side's opinions on "allowing friendlies" or "not allowing friendlies" is all for what they think what method is best for getting the most fun out of 2fort.

But if the owner of skial wants to have no friendlies (holding the team back from advancing) then as admin, it is his/her responsibility to enforce it.

I really appreciate all the support from above from friends, strangers, and naysayers.

Your opinions on my app means a lot! I've learned a lot from just a simple admin application.

I see why you don't want him to ban friendlies

On topic: His chat log looks clean and he has enough hours, but the friendly answer shows he didn't really read the rules carefully before applying

As long as you are aware of our rules you have a chance. If you need specifics on the rules look at some of the other admins and ask around or even some regs. This will might be declined so if you want to try again at a later date then feel free.

I never really care about the content of these apps. I just enjoy seizing the opportunity to post leet +1 images.

I greatly dislike friendlies.. Just annoying mic spammers saying that they'll ban me for killing them and as well as saying that they'll leave Skial because ,"it sucks because friendlies are not accepted."

Anyways, +0 for now. I may +1 it later (I think I most likely will) . You look like a good applicant, one of the few that is qualified and doesn't drop those specific words that are outlawed on Skial.

I am just suggesting that you should review the rules and get to know them better.

UPDATE:
Yeah I understand, but there are cases where people would party in sewers then others would ruin the party with easy kills and it gets old quickly (not necessarily "extended period of time") for the partiers... then they start doing their own thing (the objective). On the rules it doesn't exactly state your not aloud to be friendly... also their are friendlies that still work on the objective (usually with players on the same friend list quickly high fives then moves along).

But yes, I know it can be really annoying if it persists and the objective ends up to your disadvantage all because or persistent or temporary partying. There for to prevent disadvatages through partying must not be allowed in the first place.

Hopefully the rules would update and add be friendly on the example of the last rule "Harming your team for an extended period of time."

Sounds like you could be a good admin if you go over the rules again.

+0 for now.

Situation: What would you do if you came on and saw someone micspamming?
Bonus points if you provide the command.

We would like to know about your plans for the coming summer holidays.
If it's not too personal, I'd like to know whether (how long) you are going to travel in July - September.

I'll won't be traveling at all through the summer. I have no plans as of yet. And by "We" who is we?
